Classic Album Spotlight - St Germain "Boulevard" St Germain - Boulevard - F Communications Ludovic Navarre, alias Saint Germain, pioneer of the French Touch, the new
electronic music of France, has become an indisputable and respected reference
on the international music scene. Without him, Daft Punk, Air and Dimitri From
Paris would probably still be playing parties.
His album Boulevard, released in July 1995, sold over 200,000 copies worldwide
and has achieved classic status. We have decided to put the spotlight on this
great album, that has inspired the author @ least.
Deep house and sensual jazz which has captured so many, with it he didn't so
much as replace a template as define a new process."Boulevard" was
probably the first LP to draw attention to house music as a serious art form.
